Rachel and Marc - Real Wedding

The weather is a bit rubbish today, so I think we need some colour and there is nothing more colourful than Rachel and Marc’s Autumn Wedding at Syrencot. The pro’s at Atlas Wedding Photography https://atlasphotography.co.uk/ caught me doing a terrible job of capturing the bouquet before handing it over. They kindly sent me their album which is filled with an array of gorgeous floral shots.. So all the credit for the beautiful photos shown below need to go to them.

Abundant with all the seasonal goodness autumn has to offer the arrangements included dahlias, crysanthemums, berries, crocosmia, Autumnal foliage and textured grasses. Rachel wanted to include some kind of Apple in the arrangements as the word appears in their married surname, so we lined the tables with crabapples and wired some into the buttonholes.

Rachel did alot of her own decorating and styling and really focused on the little details when planning thier wedding. I love the fact that they even had Autumnal looking drinks. And we also need to crush on the fact that Rachel gorgeous hair colour matches the whole vibe!

The trend for different style and colour brideamids dresses is still one that is going strong for 2024 onwards and these ones were perfect in tones of green, orange and Navy and purple tones.

For the ceremony flowers they chose a pair of gold pedestal stands for either side of the table and an autumnal garland for on the table. Top tip for you: Some registrars dont like having any water on the table incase vessels get knocked and spill on the registrars book. So garlands or items in foam or moss are much preferred. The last thing you want to do is pay for an arrangement and have the registrar tell you that it cant stay on the table.

These arrangements were all moved after the ceremony by the couples wedding party and placed either side of the top table and on the top table, making them excellent value for money!

And you cannot have an Autumn orange wedding without….. mini pumpkins. The couple decided on having small jam jar arrangments on the tables, by adding in the mini pumpkins, pine cones, crab apples we were able to extend the table center design slightly making it feel larger and more interesting.

Congratulations to Rachel & Marc. If you are looking for a florist for an Autumn wedding. Then do get in touch as we love helping your Autumnal dreams come true.
