About

I’m Eleanor, a floral designer based in the heart of Wiltshire.

I have always loved anything artistic and have spent years exploring different creative outlets. I have always had an eye for colour, style and design and believe that there are no rules when it comes to floral arrangements for a wedding or event. Deciding in 2017 that I needed to work in a more creative industry, I began to explore floristry. I started off with a three-day introductory course and was inspired when my course colleagues asked to take photos of my work. From this I founded Hibiscus & Hodge, I haven’t looked back since.

Nature is my best inspiration for my work. I like to tie foraged finds in with wild foliage and collected grasses to create the best finishing touches. I have a huge passion for working with couples to create amazing wedding flowers that your guests won’t stop talking about.

I have worked at many wedding venues around Wiltshire, Hampshire, Bath & the Cotswolds from country houses, barns and marquees to outdoor weddings. Each wedding we undertake is completely unique and I never create the same scheme twice.

Passion

With bucket loads of passion and rather a lot of tea, I founded Hibiscus & Hodge specifically for style-conscious couples who see flowers as an important element of their wedding day and want an alternative to the traditional floristry offering.

Creativity

I bring my own sense of style to my work, offering a natural wilderness with a touch of the whimsical to my flower combinations and arrangements. I love the endless creativity of being a florist, the variety of nature is stimulating, and I relish in the originality of designing a bespoke scheme that reflects you as a couple.

Quality

I like to work with the best quality flowers to reflect the seasons and a moment in time. As well as using Dutch flowers, I use the best of British flowers from growers across the county combined with foraged treasures to ensure your design is truly unique. I travel throughout the South West for work, so if you love my style and like the sound of what I do please get in touch.
